interesting buildings, each with its own history and ambiance. Below,
you will find brief description of each of the facilities, and as
always, we invite you to stop in for a visit or call us for more
complete information and reservations.
THE BERMAN HOUSE ~ Our "Country" Farmhouse
The Berman House has 8 guest rooms (each with a private bath) and
one guest room with special conveniences for our handicapped guests.
The Maryland Historic Trust Survey refers to the home as being a
Tri-Gable variation of the Homestead style. The stucco farm house
once owned by a prominent merchant family, has both a comfortable
and inviting porch and parlor; perfect for enjoying a quiet chat,
a cool beverage, or a nice cup of tea.
THE LAUER HOUSE ~ Elegance combined with charm. The
Lauer House has six guest suites, each with private baths. Completed
in 1988, this impressive brick house blends modern day architecture
with the mood and style of earlier times, fully complementing the
two older homes.
The Lauer House also offers a unique conference room that will make
a perfect gathering point for your next business meeting or retreat.
THE PATTERSON HOUSE ~ History...Eighteenth century Annapolis
The restored Patterson House in Annapolis has two large
guest rooms with private baths and four guest rooms sharing two
baths. In 1681, this property was assigned to Richard Hill, First
Naval Officer of the Port of Annapolis. A brick building on this
site was referred to in 1691 as "The Old Courthouse." Between 1760
and 1786, Richard MacCubbin, an Annapolis businessman, built the
original home on this site that is now known as The Patterson House.
The Maryland Historical Trust Survey refers to the home as being
a Federal or Georgian townhouse with a Victorian facade.
